In the early 1900s, brave women and men stood up and declared that women deserved the right to vote. Suffragists wore white to symbolize the purity and determination of their movement, and their courage changed the course of American history. More than one hundred years later, women are again called to stand firm.
The Ladies Who Lead E(xx)change is a one day gathering designed to unite women of all ages to reflect onleadership, faith, values, and what it means to lead as a woman in today’s world. Attendees include local community members, college students, mothers and daughters, elected women, and emerging candidates.
Like the suffragists before us, women must continue raising their voices in the face of those who would diminish or dismiss them. The event features inspiring conversations, dynamic panels, intentional networking, and opportunities to build relationships and a renewed sense of purpose.
Run Gen Z and ALEC will host one of the largest conservative women’s events in Florida. In recognition of the suffragists who fought for these rights, attendees will dress in all white. More than three hundred women dressed in white will send a powerful message of unity and imagery.
